Project activities Information
Under the UNICEF funded project “Promoting Children’s Rights and Business Principles (CRBP) among Enterprises in Vietnam” and in cooperation with the Vietnam Chambers of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the Institute For Human rights (IHR) is organizing a workshop on “Children’s Rights and Business – Launch of a Practical guide on General Comments No.16 of the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child”. General Comment no. 16 outlines the State obligations regarding the impact of the business sector on children's rights.

The objective of this workshop is to introduce the content of General Comment no. 16 of the Committee on the Rights of the Child on children’s rights and business to leaders, policy makers, representatives of the relevant Government ministries, and organizations, thereby, raising awareness and taking effective actions to promote children's rights and business principles in businesses in Vietnam. The participants will have an opportunity to discuss key strategies/tools and learn about the good practices.
