The Covid-19 epidemic is still occurring unpredictably around the world, causing massive losses to business operation. However, this hardship has revealed and proved the importance of business sustainable development which will ensure business resilience in all cases. Along with urgent solutions that the Chairman of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) has submitted to the Prime Minister, the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD) has prepared a Report on Recommendations for Business Sustainable Development in Mid and Long term which built on the results of the Quick Survey on Business Situation Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic and Recommendations from VBCSD Members launched by the VBCSD along with discussion with the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and regional councils.


 

The recommendations are in accordance with the National Action Plan on the Implementation of the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development and Roadmap to Implement Vietnam’s Sustainable Development Goals (VSDG) by 2030. The report has been sent to the Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam and other Government agencies.
